Job Description

Role Description As a Field Sales Engineer for Construction Chemicals, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our specialized construction chemical products and solutions to B2B clients within the construction industry. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities to expand our market presence.


Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field. • 2–3 years of proven B2B / industrial sales experience, preferably in construction chemicals, heavy engineering, steel construction, foundry, or industrial maintenance sectors. • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. • Sound technical acumen with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical and application-related information to customers. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term customer relationships. • Ability to conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and identify business opportunities. • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, capable of working independently with minimal supervision. • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and visit project sites, including supervising or supporting application teams when required. • Knowledge of epoxy formulations and / or specialty construction materials will be an added advantage. • Any formal qualification or certification in Sales will be an added advantage.


Key Responsibilities: > Client Relationship Management: • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with our products and services. • Identify and understand clients' specific needs, requirements, and challenges related to construction projects. > New Business Development: • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory. • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, projects, and industry trends. • Develop and implement sales strategies to target and engage potential clients. > Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise: • Gain in-depth knowledge of our construction products, their applications, and benefits. • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, including product demonstrations and recommendations. • Collaborate with the technical team to address client inquiries and resolve technical issues. > Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients. • Conduct product demonstrations and trials to showcase the effectiveness and value of our solutions. • Represent the Company and promote its products at Trade shows and Conferences. > Sales Quota Achievement: • Set and achieve sales targets and quotas within your assigned territory. • Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results regularly. > Market Analysis and Reporting: • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats. • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and customer feedback. > Team Collaboration: • Collaborate closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction. • Share market intelligence and customer feedback to improve products and services.
