Job Description
Position: Sales Executive
Location: Bangalore (On-site, Full-time)
Role Overview: As a Sales Executive – Retail Sales, you will be responsible for driving showroom sales, achieving monthly targets, building strong customer relationships, and representing the Induscraft brand with confidence and professionalism. Your primary focus will be revenue generation, lead conversion, upselling, and delivering a premium buying experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Actively engage with walk-in customers and understand their furniture requirements.
- Present products confidently, explain features, craftsmanship, customization options, and pricing.
- Close sales effectively and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Upsell complementary products such as coffee tables, mirrors, storage units, etc.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotations to maximize conversions.
- Maintain strong negotiation and closing skills while protecting brand value and margins.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build long-term relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain detailed customer records and follow-up schedules.
- Handle customer objections professionally and convert hesitation into purchase decisions.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed orders to the operations/logistics team.
Business Development and Reporting:
- Identify new sales opportunities through referrals, interior designers, and local networks.
- Collaborate with marketing initiatives and in-store promotions to boost footfall and sales.
- Monitor competitor offerings and provide market feedback to management.
- Maintain daily sales reports, pipeline status, and target achievement tracking.
- Track conversion ratios and consistently work toward improving them.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong sales orientation with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Confident communication and presentation ability.
- Customer-focused mindset with commercial awareness.
- Interest in furniture, interior styling, and home décor trends.
Preferred Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of retail sales experience (furniture/interiors preferred).
- Proven experience in target-based sales environment.
