Senior Interior Designer

The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for managing interior design projects from client consultation to project completion, including design conceptualization, client presentation, cost estimation, and coordination with execution teams. The role also involves converting client consultations into confirmed projects while ensuring design quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Consultation & Requirement Understanding

- Meet clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle, functionality needs, and budget.

- Conduct detailed design discussions and space planning consultations.

- Provide professional guidance on design styles, materials, and layouts.

2. Design Concept & Presentation

- Develop creative design concepts and themes for residential interiors.

- Prepare 2D layouts, furniture plans, and space planning drawings.

- Create 3D design presentations and walkthroughs.

- Present design ideas and explain design concepts to clients.

3. Client Conversion & Sales Support

- Guide clients through the design and budgeting process.

- Prepare design proposals and cost estimates.

- Work closely with the sales team to convert leads into confirmed projects.

- Build strong client relationships to increase conversion rates.

4. Technical Drawings & Documentation

- Prepare detailed execution drawings including electrical layouts, false ceiling drawings, wall elevations, modular kitchen drawings, wardrobe and furniture details, and material specifications.

- Ensure drawings are accurate and execution-ready.

5. Site Coordination & Execution Support

- Visit project sites to ensure design implementation as per drawings.

- Coordinate with site engineers, carpenters, contractors, and vendors.

- Address design challenges during project execution.

- Ensure design quality and finishing standards.

6. Material Selection & Vendor Coordination

- Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, laminates, fabrics, lighting, and décor.

- Coordinate with vendors for material availability and specifications.

- Stay updated with the latest design trends and materials.

7. Project Tracking

- Monitor project progress and design implementation.

- Ensure design deliverables are completed within project timelines.

- Support the project team in resolving design-related issues.

Required Software Skills

- AutoCAD

- SketchUp / 3ds Max / Lumion

- Photoshop

- MS Office / Excel / PowerPoint

Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Interior Design / Interior Architecture

Preferred Experience

- 3–4 years experience in residential interior design projects

- Experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, living spaces, and full home interiors

- Experience working with site execution teams
