Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our team at Livin Interiors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading design projects from conception to completion, providing creative direction, and managing client relationships. This role requires a strong portfolio, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple interior design projects, ensuring they meet the client’s objectives, budget, and timeline.

• Develop creative design concepts, including mood boards, layouts, color schemes, furniture selection, and material finishes.

• Oversee the preparation of detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings. • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

• Mentor and collaborate with junior designers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality output.

• Conduct client meetings to assess needs, preferences, and vision, offering expert advice and solutions.

• Present design concepts and project progress to clients, making adjustments as needed based on feedback.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and innovative design techniques.

• Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control without compromising on design quality.

• Ensure that all designs comply with local regulations and safety standards.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

. • 3+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.

• Proficiency in design software such as Enscape, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and other relevant tools.

• Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting design.

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven experience in managing client relationships and working in a collaborative environment.

• Ability to lead a team, motivate others, and provide constructive feedback.

• A keen eye for detail, colour, and design aesthetics. • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and an interest in eco-friendly design solutions.
