Job Description
The Senior Sales Advisor – Field Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and closing high-value deals. This role requires strong market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in field sales. The Senior Sales Advisor will also mentor junior sales staff and ensure sales processes are followed efficiently.
- Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers.
- Proactively generate leads through networking, cold calls, referrals, and field visits.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Execution
- Conduct site visits, presentations, and product/service demonstrations.
- Negotiate terms, close deals, and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Follow up on leads promptly and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
- Mentoring & Collaboration
- Guide and support junior sales advisors in meeting their sales goals.
- Share best practices and provide feedback to improve team performance.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and support teams for smooth execution.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Provide market feedback to improve products, services, and pricing strategies.
- RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in field sales, with at least 2 years in a senior/advisory role.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Good market awareness and networking skills.
- Other:
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly and quarterly sales targets achieved.
