Job Description
Key Responsibilites & Competencies:
- B2B Client Acquisition: Onboarding corporate clients, offices and event planners for bulk orders
- Sales Cycle Management: Handling end-to-end sales including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and contract signing
- Revenue Management: Achieve monthly sales targets by optimizing menu mix, pricing and promotions
- Relationship Building: Building relationships with prospective clients to secure catering based meal contracts. Cultivating long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
- Operational Liaison: Coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery and quality, ensuring client satisfaction
- Market Research: Monitor competitors and analyse market trends to adjust sales strategies
Requirements:
- Experience: 3–5 years in catering sales, within the hospitality or HoReCa sector
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with food service logistics, menu planning and corporate catering requirements
- Communication Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to pitch and close deals
- Relationship Building: Ability to network effectively with procurement heads, Chefs and corporate decision makers
- Goal-Oriented: A proactive, target-driven mindset
- Education: College education preferred
- Key Skills: High level of creativity, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast paced client driven environment
- Computer Skills: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and ability to use email and the internet
