Job Description

To oversee the complete accessories fitment operations for 2-wheelers, ensure high-quality installation, manage the service team, maintain customer satisfaction, and drive revenue through efficient workflow and process management.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Workflow Management

  • Supervise daily accessories fitment operations in the workshop.
  • Ensure timely completion of fitment jobs as per booking schedule.
  • Allocate work to technicians based on skill and workload.
  • Monitor the quality of installation and adherence to brand standards.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work environment.

2. Customer Service

  • Interact with customers to understand accessory requirements.
  • Provide expert suggestions on suitable accessories and compatibility.
  • Handle customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Ensure proper documentation and billing of all fitment jobs.

3. Team Management

  • Lead and motivate the fitment technicians and service staff.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on new accessories, tools, and fitment techniques.
  • Monitor staff performance, attendance, and discipline.
  • Recruit and onboard technicians when needed.

4. Inventory & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with the accessories inventory team for stock availability.
  • Ensure timely indents for fast-moving items.
  • Track and report inventory consumption and wastage.
  • Liaise with vendors for new product updates and technical support.

5. Quality Control & Compliance

  • Conduct QC checks on all accessories fitted.
  • Maintain accurate records of fitment jobs and service reports.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure tool/equipment maintenance.

6. Revenue & Performance Monitoring

  • Achieve monthly accessories fitment targets.
  • Monitor key metrics: TAT, labor efficiency, customer feedback scores, revenue per job.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell accessories and value-added services.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly performance reports.



Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of 2-wheeler accessories and fitment processes.
  • Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems of bikes.
  • Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer-handling abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage high workshop traffic.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, DMS, CRM systems).



Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma / ITI in Automobile / Mechanical; Degree preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in 2-wheeler service or accessories operations.
  • Experience in handling a team in a workshop environment (preferred).
