Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare and marinate meat (chicken, buff, lamb, etc.) according to restaurant recipes.
• Skewer and stack meat on the shawarma rotisserie.
• Grill, slice, and portion shawarma meat with precision and consistency.
• Prepare sauces, salads, toppings, and accompaniments.
• Assemble sandwiches, plates, and wraps neatly and quickly.

Quality & Presentation

• Ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant’s quality and taste standards.
• Maintain consistency in meat texture, seasoning, and cooking doneness.
• Present food attractively in both dine-in and take-out formats.

Hygiene & Safety

• Follow all food handling, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Keep workstations, equipment, and utensils clean and organized.
• Perform regular safety and temperature checks for equipment and food.

Customer Service

• Interact professionally and kindly with customers.
• Handle special requests and dietary preferences when possible.
• Assist with order accuracy and timely service.

Inventory & Coordination

• Monitor inventory levels of meat, vegetables, sauces, and supplies.
• Communicate with kitchen management regarding stock needs.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

• Proven experience as a Shawarma Master or in Middle Eastern cuisine.
• Strong knife skills and rotisserie grilling skills.
• Knowledge of seasoning, marination, and meat preparation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Understanding of food safety standards (HACCP or equivalent).

Preferred

• Experience in high-volume quick-service restaurants.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Basic communication skills and teamwork ability.
