Site Engineer

The candidates MUST have worked with a contracting (Execution) firm only. Candidate working for an architect, developer, consultants, PMC’s NEED NOT APPLY.

1)    Must be thoroughly conversant with engineering requirements of execution of a building project like setting out and marking the building on an open site.

2)     Must be able to study and understand the structural and architectural drawings.

3)     Must know the best practices in Centring and shuttering, concreting, and finishing works.

4)    Must be able to make a bar bending schedule based on the structural drawing given to him.

5)    Must be conversant with the quality charts, quality requirements of various materials and item of work.

6)    Must be able to prepare the clients bills by taking the measurements, compiling the same and preparing abstract of quantities. Must be able to operate under various measuring methods i.e. The drawings may be in foot and inches or in meters and millimetres. The candidate must know how to convert quantities from one method to the other.

7)    Must be able to operate Auto Cadd, MS Word, MS Excel, send and receive mails and basic computer knowledge.

8)    Person who has done high value individual houses would be more than welcome.

9)    Knowledge of interior fit out work is appreciated.
