Software Tester

About the Role

We are looking for a Product-Focused Software Tester who brings deep product knowledge and user empathy to our QA process. This role prioritizes understanding how users interact with our software over deep technical coding expertise. You will leverage modern AI-powered testing tools to ensure our products deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

•      Develop and execute comprehensive test plans based on product requirements and user workflows

•      Utilize AI-powered testing tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Katalon, or similar) to automate and enhance testing processes

•      Validate features from a user perspective, ensuring intuitive UX and seamless functionality

•      Collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand business requirements and acceptance criteria

•      Document and communicate bugs clearly with reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior

•      Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues

•      Contribute to improving testing strategies using AI and automation technologies

•      Participate in sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team

Requirements

•      Strong product mindset: Ability to understand product goals, user personas, and business impact

•      2+ years of experience in software testing or QA roles

•      Experience with AI-powered testing tools (Testim, Mabl, Katalon Studio, TestCraft, or similar platforms)

•      Excellent attention to detail and ability to think from an end-user perspective

•      Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear bug reporting

•      Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

•      Basic understanding of web/mobile applications (no coding required)

Nice to Have

•      Experience with prompt engineering for AI testing assistants

•      Familiarity with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)

•      Background in UX research or user acceptance testing

•      Experience testing SaaS or B2B software products
