STP Engineer

DS-MAX is hiring for  a skilled STP Engineer with 3–9 years of experience in operating and maintaining Sewage Treatment Plants. The candidate should have hands-on experience in machine operations, process monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient plant performance and compliance with environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Operate and maintain STP machinery and equipment including pumps, blowers, clarifiers, filters, and dosing systems

·        Monitor daily plant operations such as flow rates, pressure levels, and treatment efficiency

·        Ensure proper functioning of biological and chemical treatment processes

·        Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of STP equipment

·        Handle breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues in coordination with maintenance teams

·        Maintain records of plant performance, log sheets, and operational reports

·        Ensure treated water meets pollution control board norms

·        Manage sludge handling, chemical dosing, and water recycling systems

·        Coordinate with vendors for AMC, repairs, and spare parts procurement

·        Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

·        Key Skills Required:

·        Strong knowledge of STP operations and process cycles (MBBR / SBR / ASP, etc.)

·        Hands-on experience in machine handling and troubleshooting

·        Understanding of pumps, motors, blowers, and piping systems

·        Basic knowledge of electrical panels and instrumentation

·        Familiarity with water quality standards and testing parameters

·        Ability to maintain reports and documentation

·        Good problem-solving and coordination skills
