Team Leader

About the Role:

The Team Lead – Collections will be responsible for supervising and motivating a team of collection executives to achieve monthly recovery targets. The role involves monitoring portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and improving customer repayment experience through efficient collection strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Team Management & Performance

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of collection executives to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets.

·      Portfolio & Process Management

Monitor delinquent accounts and drive resolution through effective follow-ups.

·      Compliance & Quality

Ensure collection practices strictly follow RBI guidelines, company SOPs, and fair collection practices.

·      Reporting & Analytics

Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly performance reports.

·      People & Training

Conduct training sessions for new and existing team members on scripts, tools, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·      2–4 years of experience in Collections (preferably digital lending, NBFC, fintech, or BFSI).

·      At least 1 year of experience managing a team.

·      Strong understanding of digital lending workflows, buckets, and delinquency management.

·      Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

·      Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

·      Hands-on experience with CRM tools, dialers, and collection systems.
