Job Description – Tele-Caller (Education Counselling)

Job Title: Tele-Caller_Sales

Experience: 1–3 Years (Minimum 1 year in relevant industry)

Industry: Education / Training / Student Counselling

Qualification: 12th or Any Graduate.

Salary: INR. 15,000.00/- To INR. 20,000.00/- per month. Plus Incentives. 

Job location: BTM 1st stage, Bengaluru.

Work Time: Mon-Sat(10AM-7PM)


Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Tele-Caller with experience in the education sector. The role involves counselling students over the phone, converting leads into admissions, maintaining follow-ups, and ensuring timely payment collections.


Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective students based on provided leads

• Explain course details, eligibility, fee structure, and admission process clearly

• Counsel students and address their queries to convert inquiries into enrollments

• Follow up with interested candidates regularly until admission closure

• Maintain and update lead status accurately in the CRM or tracking system

• Coordinate with internal teams for documentation and admission formalities

• Handle payment follow-ups and collections from students professionally

• Ensure high standards of telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction

• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly calling and conversion targets

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in cold calling and lead conversion

• Strong communication and counselling skills

• Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to track leads and manage follow-ups systematically

• Experience in student counselling and admission closures

• Comfortable handling payment discussions and follow-ups

• Target-oriented with good negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in education counselling or tele-calling

• Experience working with educational institutions, training centers, or academies

• Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Excel

• Ability to handle objections and rejections positively
