Job Title: Training Manager – Food & Beverage

Job Summary

The Operations Training Manager – F&B is responsible for developing and executing training programs that ensure consistent food quality, service standards, safety compliance, and operational excellence across all outlets. This role focuses on onboarding, skill development, SOP adherence, and continuous improvement of front- and back-of-house teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs for Service and Production teams.
• Conduct onboarding and certification training for new hires (crew, supervisors, and managers)
• Develop and maintain SOPs related to food preparation, service standards, hygiene, and safety
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Train teams on customer service excellence, upselling, and brand standards
• Partner with Operations and HR to identify training needs and performance gaps
• Support new store openings with pre-opening and post-opening training
• Conduct regular audits, assessments, and refresher training across outlets
• Coach outlet managers and trainers to ensure consistent execution
• Drive standardization of processes across multiple locations
• Track training effectiveness through KPIs, audits, and feedback

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of F&B operations (QSR / Café )
• In-depth understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality control
• Excellent training, communication, and presentation skills
• Hands-on approach with ability to train on the floor
• Strong observation, coaching, and feedback skills
• Ability to work across multiple outlets and travel as required
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; LMS knowledge preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field
• 4–8 years of experience in F&B operations and/or training roles
• Prior experience in multi-unit restaurant operations preferred
