Job Description
- Waiter – Roles & ResponsibilitiesGreet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and explain food and beverage items
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and well-maintained
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction
- Handle customer requests, complaints, or feedback politely
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service
- Clear tables after meals and prepare them for new guests
- Prepare and present bills; handle payments accurately
- Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, service stations, and utensils
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the restaurant
- Upsell menu items and promote specials when appropriate
- Adhere to hotel/restaurant policies and service standards
