Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Steward – Banquet & VIP Services to manage meeting room setups, banquet operations, and VIP food & beverage service in an institutional catering environment. The candidate should be well-versed in formal service standards, tea/coffee service for delegates, and banquet food service procedures, ensuring smooth and professional service at all events.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSet up meeting rooms, conference halls, and banquet venues as per event requirements
• Arrange tables, chairs, podiums, audio-visual coordination, and table layouts
• Provide tea, coffee, and beverage service to delegates, faculty, guests, and VIPs
• Execute banquet food service (buffet and plated service) as per institutional standards
• Maintain high grooming, hygiene, and service etiquette standards
• Coordinate with kitchen, operations, and admin teams for event readiness
• Supervise and guide junior stewards during events and VIP services
• Ensure timely service, cleanliness, and proper presentation before, during, and after events
• Handle VIP guests with discretion, professionalism, and courtesy
• Ensure proper clearing, reset, and closing of banquet and meeting areas
• Required Skills & KnowledgeStrong knowledge of banquet setup and food service procedures
• Experience in meeting room setup and conference services
• Expertise in tea / coffee service and formal service etiquette
• Understanding of VIP service standards
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Eye for detail and ability to work under time pressure
