An X-ray technician, also known as a radiologic technologist, performs diagnostic imaging to help physicians diagnose and treat injuries and diseases. Their duties include preparing patients for exams, positioning them correctly for imaging, operating X-ray equipment, and ensuring the resulting images are clear and accurate. Key responsibilities also involve maintaining patient records, following radiation safety protocols, and performing routine equipment maintenance.
