Academic Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

• Admissions & Sales: Responsible for converting leads into admissions by selling/up-selling, and cross-selling Aakash's courses to prospective students and parents through calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
• Student Counseling: Educate students about classroom, digital, and hybrid course options, including fee structures, scholarship tests, and batch details.
• Academic Guidance & Retention: Act as a mentor to existing students, helping them with academic planning, identifying student needs, and addressing concerns to minimize dropouts.
• Process & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in CRM/Salesforce, report on daily activities, manage student databases, and handle fee collection.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build rapport with parents and students to ensure a positive experience and address grievances promptly. 

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in educational counseling, B2C sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle, persuade, and mentor students and parents.
• Education: Bachelor's degree (any field), with backgrounds in Education or Psychology considered a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computers, MS Office, and CRM tools. 

Salary & Working Conditions

• Salary Range: Typically 3.5- 6.5LPA per month base, with potential for commission/incentives for meeting targets.
