Academic Counsellor

Job Summary

Affinity Education is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our counselling team. As a Counsellor, you will interact with students and parents, understand their educational goals, and guide them toward suitable programs and institutions. This role is ideal for candidates with strong communication skills, a passion for education, and a desire to help others — no prior experience required; full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students and parents to understand their aspirations and provide relevant guidance.
• Counsel students about courses, universities, and career opportunities.
• Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online inquiries in a professional manner.
• Assist with admission procedures, documentation, and application forms.
• Maintain accurate student records and follow up on leads.
• Participate in events, seminars, and webinars to promote Affinity Education’s programs.
• Collaborate with the admissions and marketing teams to meet counselling and enrolment goals.
• Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Freshers are encouraged to apply; training and mentorship will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in speaking with students and parents.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, data entry).
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for helping others succeed.

• Interest in education, counselling, or communication fields.
• Fluency in English and at least one regional language.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
