Academic Counsellor

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Counsellor to provide expert guidance to students in selecting colleges and programs that align with their preferences, aspirations, and budget. • Key Responsibilities: o Student Counselling: Conduct personalized counselling sessions to understand students’ academic goals, preferences, and financial considerations. o Guidance on College Selection: Provide detailed information about top colleges, academic programs, and admission procedures to assist students in making informed decisions. o Communication: Act as a liaison between students, parents, and colleges to ensure smooth admission processes. o Follow-Up: Regularly follow up with prospective students and parents to address queries and provide updates on admission status. o Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners. o Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions and admissions data. • Workshops and Seminars: Organize and facilitate workshops on career planning, study techniques, and program details as required. • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to align counselling strategies with organizational objectives. Qualifications and Skills: • Educational Background: BBA, MBA, or equivalent qualifications preferred. • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and regional languages. • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to empathize and build trust with students and parents. • Sales Orientation: Strong persuasive skills and a results-driven attitude to meet counselling and admission targets. • Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking to guide students towards the best possible academic decisions. • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office and CRM tools is a plus.
