Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance department with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments
• Record financial transactions and maintain ledgers
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Support in preparing GST returns, TDS filings, and other statutory compliance
• Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursement
• Help in preparing financial reports and summaries as required
• Manage petty cash transactions
• Coordinate with internal departments for document verification and approvals
