Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate bookkeeping, including managing accounts receivable/payable, coding transactions, and reconciling bank accounts.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and investors.

Process payroll and ensure timely payments to employees and vendors.

Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and monitor cash flow to support business planning and growth initiatives.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, and assist with annual audits and tax filings.

Advise founders on accounting policies, internal controls, and financial decisions relevant to a fast-growing business environment.

Strategic RoleProvide insights to founders for optimizing costs, securing funding, and structuring the business for scalability and regulatory compliance.

Develop and implement systems to support streamlined financial processes and facilitate investor communications.
