Our mode of operation involves close coordination with DTDC’s extensive network, franchisees, and our nationwide corporate clients to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and seamless operational execution. We manage all finance, commercial, and administrative functions necessary to support our franchise operations and ensure smooth, efficient handling of consignments and related customer requirements.

 Position Summary 

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager with a minimum of 4 years’ experience. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end accounting, commercial activities, MIS and reporting, customer billing support, managing financial queries and general administrative duties to ensure smooth operations and statutory compliance.

 Key Responsibilities 

1. Accounting & Financial Management

 

- Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally/ERP, including ledger postings, AR/AP, and journal entries.

- Prepare and reconcile daily cash, wallet, card, and bank transactions (End of Day).

- Manage petty cash, daily expenses, and cash vouchers with supporting documentation.

- Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements and reconciliations.

- Ensure revenue reconciliation (booking vs invoicing vs collections).

 

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

 

- Raise and send invoices (fortnightly/monthly) with necessary supporting documents.

- Track payments, follow up on overdue accounts, and prepare ageing reports.

- Address customer queries on invoices, tax calculations, deductions, and outstanding amounts.

- Maintain records of all communications and payment commitments.

 

3. Accounts Payable (AP)

 

- Verify vendor bills against purchase orders, delivery notes, and approvals before processing.

- Schedule and process vendor payments (NEFT, RTGS, cheques) as per agreed terms.

- Maintain vendor ageing reports and reconcile vendor ledgers periodically.

 

4. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

 

- Prepare and submit GST workings, challans, and returns on time.

- Handle TDS calculations, payments, and return filings.

- Process Professional Tax (PT) payments.

- Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements and coordinate with auditors.

 

5. Banking & Treasury

 

- Manage day-to-day banking transactions, cheque deposits, withdrawals, and bank transfers.

- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Liaise with banks for facilities such as OD limits, bank guarantees, and issue resolutions.

 

6. MIS & Reporting

 

- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports covering revenue, expenses, collections, and outstanding balances.

- Perform profitability analysis, variance analysis, and other financial analytics to support decision-making.

- Generate ad-hoc reports as requested by management.

 

7. Commercial & Customer Query Management

 

- Liaise with customers for service-related queries, billing clarifications, and dispute resolution.

- Handle escalations related to invoices, tax issues, and outstanding payments.

- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve service-related issues impacting invoicing or collections.

 

8. General Office Administration

 

- Support day-to-day office operations including procurement of office supplies and vendor coordination.

- Ensure timely payment of utility bills and office expenses.

- Maintain systematic filing of invoices, challans, contracts, and statutory records.

 Qualifications & Skills 

- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or related field.

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, commercial operations, and administration.

- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and GST/TDS portals.

- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, statutory compliance, and taxation.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in English, Hindi and local language.

- Strong interpersonal skills for handling client and vendor communications.
