Accountant

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Key Responsibilities:Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and reconciliations.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
• Support audit preparation and coordinate with auditors when necessary.
• Manage tax filings (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.) and maintain proper documentation.
• Monitor and report on financial transactions and variances.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best accounting practices.
• Experience:

• 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
