Accountant

Job Description:

We are a GST & Income Tax practice firm looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, and Income Tax work.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 GST Compliance

Preparation & filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)

GST reconciliation of sales, purchase & ITC

Handling GST notices and basic replies

Coordination with clients for data & follow-ups

🔹 Income Tax Work

Preparation of Income Tax Returns (ITR – Individual, Firm, Company)

TDS returns (24Q, 26Q) & reconciliation

Handling basic Income Tax notices

Assisting in assessments and compliance work

🔹 Accounting

Day-to-day accounting entries

Bank reconciliation

Finalization of accounts (basic level)

Working knowledge of Tally / Excel

🔹 Client Coordination

Regular follow-ups for documents

Maintaining compliance schedules

Supporting practitioner in advisory work

Required Skills & Knowledge:

✔ Practical knowledge of GST & Income Tax

✔ Experience in Tally / Accounting Software

✔ Good command over MS Excel

✔ Basic knowledge of GST portal & Income Tax portal

✔ Attention to detail & ability to meet deadlines
