Job Description

Role Overview


We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support management with timely reporting. This role is crucial in maintaining financial discipline, compliance, and seamless coordination with both internal teams and external stakeholders like vendors, clients, and banks.


Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts including ledgers, vouchers, and journal entries.

• Handle daily accounting activities such as payments, receipts, cash flow entries, and expense tracking.

• Prepare and manage invoices, vendor payments, and client receipts with proper documentation.

• Conduct bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and track outstanding payments.

• Manage TDS, GST workings, returns support, and basic statutory compliance.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, balance sheet schedules, P&L data, and financial summaries.

• Coordinate with banks for statements, loan documentation, disbursement tracking, and account updates.

• Organise accounting files, agreements, and financial documents for audits and internal review.

• Support internal audits with accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.

• Assist the senior management in financial analysis, budgeting inputs, and data gathering when required.

• Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and timely updates of all financial records.


Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

1–3 years of accounting experience (prior experience in NBFCs or financial firms is preferred but not mandatory).

• Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / Accounting Software and strong MS Excel skills.

• Solid understanding of GST, TDS, reconciliation, and basic compliance processes.

• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and record-keeping discipline.

• Ability to work independently and handle responsibility with minimal supervision.

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
