Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Book-KeepingMaintain accurate books of accounts in Tally / ERP
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries, and fixed assets
• Maintain ledgers, trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet
• Bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations

Statutory Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and returns
• Ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory dues
• Assist in compliance related to MSME, ROC, and other regulatory filings

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Vendor bill verification and payment processing
• Customer invoicing and receivables follow-up
• Maintain ageing reports for debtors and creditors

Audit & Reporting

• Assist in internal and statutory audits
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks, and consultants
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and basic financial analysis
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections

Other Responsibilities

• Support management with financial data and reports
• Maintain proper filing (physical & digital) of accounting documents
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
