Accountant

Role OverviewThe Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards using Tally. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle financial transactions efficiently.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally (ERP/TallyPrime).
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and manage sales, purchase, and expense entries.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
• Prepare GST returns, TDS calculations, and statutory compliance.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage inventory accounting and stock summaries (if applicable).
• Maintain petty cash, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• Generate essential financial reports from Tally such as:
• 
  
• Trial Balance
• Profit & Loss Account
• Balance Sheet
• Cash & Fund Flow Statements
• Support management with timely financial data and analysis.
