Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in day-to-day bookkeeping, managing monthly TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), GST (Goods and Services Tax), PT (Professional Tax), and other statutory compliances, as well as preparing monthly financial reports for individuals, family offices, start-ups and entities across diverse industry & business verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-Day Bookkeeping:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
• Record all transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are addressed in a timely manner.
• Statutory Compliance:
• Manage and file monthly TDS returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Prepare and submit GST returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Handle Professional Tax (PT) compliance, including filing and remittances.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant tax laws and statutory requirements.
• Periodic Reporting:
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide insights for management.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
• Individual Income-tax compliances
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly advance tax computations
• Preparation of Annual income-tax returns for HNWIs.
• Other Duties:
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and ensure smooth financial operations.
• Perform any other accounting-related tasks as required by the management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Any post bachelors qualification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a focus on statutory compliance and reporting.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong understanding of TDS, GST, PT, and other statutory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
