Accountant

• Job Title: Accountant
• Reporting to: Finance Supervisor
• Location: Company Office
• Working Hours & Shifts: Regular office hours (Monday to Saturday, per company policy; overtime may be required during month-end or tax season)
• Salary Range: Negotiable based on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting tasks, including the management of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Issue and verify sales and purchase invoices, ensuring data accuracy.
• Record and maintain the company's financial records; perform regular account reconciliations and adjustments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Process bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and related financial documents.
• Assist with GST filing, TDS deductions, and other tax-related operations.
• Cooperate with annual audits by providing required ledgers and documents.
• Assist supervisors with other finance and accounting-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; familiarity with SME or manufacturing accounting processes is preferred.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and Indian tax laws such as GST and TDS.
• Detail-oriented and careful, with numerical sensitivity and a high sense of responsibility.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in accounting and office software such as Tally ERP and MS Excel.
• Good numerical analysis and data organization skills.
• Able to independently complete daily accounting tasks and report preparation.
• Basic English reading and writing skills, capable of reading and handling English financial documents.
• Strong time management skills, able to complete tasks within deadlines.
