Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks and ensure the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will have experience with tax filings (GST, TDS), payroll processing, statutory compliance (ESI, PF), reconciliations, and overall financial reporting. This role requires strong organizational skills and knowledge of Indian accounting and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate books of accounts, including general ledger, journal entries, and financial records

· Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) on time

· Handle TDS calculation, deduction, deposit, and return filing (Form 26Q, 24Q, etc.)

· Process monthly payroll, including calculation of salaries, bonuses, and deductions

· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements like ESI, PF, and handle related filings and payments

· Perform bank statement reconciliation and resolve discrepancies

· Conduct ledger reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy

· Support month-end and year-end close processes

· Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial reports and MIS

· Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits

· Assist with budget preparation, financial planning, and cost control

· Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and accounting standards
