Job Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant cum Procurement Manager to manage our financial operations and oversee procurement activities. This role involves direct communication with the CEO, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will handle financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage the procurement of materials and services essential for our interior projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns promptly.
- Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and audits.
- Process employee reimbursements and coordinate payroll activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting and procurement roles, preferably within the interior design or construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other financial compliances.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with supply chain management software.
- Familiarity with contract management and legal aspects of procurement.
- Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions.
