Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

·        Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

·        Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports/statements.

·        Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.

·        Manage the budgeting process, including planning, forecasting, and reporting.

·        Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas of improvement.

·        Coordinate audits and liaise with internal and external auditors.

·        Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide training and support as needed.

·        Manage cash flow, banking, and investment activities.

·        Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets.

·        Assist in financial planning and strategy with senior management.

 

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

·        Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage.

·        Proven work experience (5+ years) as an Accounts Manager or similar role.

·        Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.

·        Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar).

·        Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

·        Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

·        Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
