JOB DESCRIPTION OF AN ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Detail-oriented, diligent, and hard-working professionals make for a good account manager. They should be very organised in order to efficiently be able to maintain different customer accounts, ensuring every little component in the database is up-to-date. Account managers should be resourceful and have a strong attention span to thoroughly comprehend client needs and provide timely, satisfactory solutions.

Account managers have many responsibilities and duties, such as

Ø Managerial Ability - To lead the team of 4-5 people and guide them on the regular basis.

Ø To look into the verification of all the entries passed by the team.

Ø As a Team head the person will be answerable for all the working which are related to the accounts department.

Ø Should be well known on all the statutory compliances

Ø Should have the knowledge managing client accounts on Bills receivable & Payable workings.

Ø Well versed in GST related workings

Ø Preparing MIS reports

Ø Ability to handle multiple tasks, such as communication and record keeping

Ø Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ø Ability to adapt to fast-paced working environments

Ø Ability to collect and process vast information

Ø Coordinating with internal teams, ensuring timely delivery of products or services that meet client expectations

Ø Analyzing account performance, tracking key metrics, and adjusting strategies to improve results

Experience Requirements :

Ø The position requires at least 3–5 years of experience as a customer account manager, account executive, or in a similar role.

Ø Should have worked in filing the GST & other related files in the portal.

Education And Training Requirements :

Ø The position of account manager requires at least a bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, management, communication, or any other relevant discipline. Other professional certifications and competency certificates in CRM software may be preferred, but not necessary. Following onboarding, the account manager must complete the required training to comprehend the company’s operations and clientele.

Ø Should know the Tally prime

Ø Should be best at Microsoft Excel & formulas, Vlook, Hlookup, Pivot table etc
