Job Description

Job Title: Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Human Resources

Location: Delhi (Corporate)

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: General Manager (GM) - HR / VP - HR


Job Summary:

The AGM - HR will be responsible for overseeing and executing strategic HR initiatives, talent

management, employee engagement, and compliance at the corporate level. This role demands

a proactive leader who can align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational

growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Management:

 Develop and implement HR strategies that align with corporate goals and business

objectives.

 Drive organization-wide HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

 Collaborate with senior leadership to shape workforce planning and succession

strategies.

Talent Acquisition G Management:

 Oversee end-to-end recruitment, ensuring timely hiring of top talent.

 Develop employer branding strategies to attract high-calibre professionals.

 Monitor and enhance the talent pipeline through career development programs.

Employee Engagement G Culture:

 Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace

satisfaction.

 Foster a high-performance culture through recognition programs and leadership

development.

 Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Performance Management G Training:

 Lead performance management cycles, including goal setting and appraisals.

 Develop and oversee training and development programs to upskill employees.

 Ensure leadership development through mentorship and coaching programs.

HR Operations G Compliance:

 Ensure compliance with labor laws, corporate policies, and industry regulations.


 Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.

 Implement HR analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.

Compensation G Benefits Management:

 Review and recommend competitive compensation structures.

 Drive salary benchmarking, incentive programs, and employee benefits enhancement.

Industrial Relations G Employee Relations:

 Manage employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

 Maintain a positive working relationship with labor unions (if applicable).

 Ensure adherence to ethical and fair employment practices.


Ǫualifications G Experience:

 MBA / Master’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.

 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

 Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and industry best practices.

 Experience in handling corporate-level HR strategies and large-scale workforce

management.

 Proven track record in driving HR transformation and digital HR solutions.
