Assembly Technician

Job Title: Assembly OperatorDepartment: Manufacturing / Production

Location: (Varies by plant location)

Reporting To: Production Supervisor

• 🎯 Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble telecom networking products such as routers, switches, and optical transmission equipment.
• Perform PCB assembly and component mounting (manual or automated).
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Conduct basic quality checks and visual inspections.
• Operate assembly tools and equipment safely.
• Identify and report defects or production issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation (5S standards).
• Meet daily production targets.
• Support testing and packaging teams when required.
• 🛠️ Skills RequiredBasic knowledge of electronics and components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc.).
• Ability to read basic assembly drawings or instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (for logging production data).
• 🎓 QualificationITI / Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical.
• 0–3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing (freshers may be considered).
• 🧰 Work EnvironmentFactory / Manufacturing floor setting.
• Shift-based work may be required.
