Job Description

Assistant Store Manager

Reporting to: Store Manager / Area Manager

KRA:

 Store Operations

 Sales & Budget

 Customer Service

 Billing & Cash Handling

 People Management & Training / Retention

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 Effective communication & influencing skills.

 Ability to work in a Team.

 Excellent customer handling skills

 Customer Service orientation

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Reporting on time as per allocated shift.

 Adhering to all the SOPs at the outlet level

 Serving customers in a timely manner.

 Providing excellent customer service.

 Maintaining the outlet cleanliness & hygiene.

 Adhering to work timing & duty roaster assigned by the Store manager.

 Wearing the prescribed uniform while on duty.

 Adhering grooming & personal hygiene standards.

 Customer relationship (Greeting with a smile, Welcoming & thanking, Taking order)

 Attending training sessions to grow knowledge of products and to develop customer service

skills.

 Resolving phone, walk-in, mail, fax, and email customer inquiries. Identifying customer needs.

 Forwarding and escalating inquiries to relevant individuals and departments.

 Contacting customers to give them accurate feedback on the progress of their inquiries.

 Updating customer information as required.

 Performs general floor maintenance and housekeeping; monitors and maintains the condition

and safekeeping of items.

 Contribute ideas to resolve customer problems to improve productivity.

 Work within various teams to ensure outstanding customer service.

 Maintain broad knowledge of customer products and services.

 Participate in meetings and activities held to improve customer satisfaction and business

performance.
