Audio Visual Programmer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Audio/Video Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV system programming, with experience in developing and commissioning complex audio-video systems. This role involves close collaboration with design, engineering, and project management teams to deliver customized AV solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• System Programming: Develop and implement control system programs for AV equipment using platforms such as Crestron, AMX, QSC, and Extron.
• GUI Development: Design and develop custom graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for control system touch panels.
• System Integration: Coordinate the integration of AV control system programs with various audio-visual components, ensuring seamless operation.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to AV systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for software projects, including code repositories and system configurations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored AV solutions.
• Training and Support: Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–6 years in AV programming, with proficiency in platforms such as Crestron, AMX, QSC, and Extron.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of AV system design and integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to AV control systems.
• Experience with GUI development for control interfaces.
• Familiarity with AV signal flow and system troubleshooting.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes

• Certifications such as Crestron P201, AMX, or equivalent.
• Experience in designing solutions for sectors such as education, government, or healthcare.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in AV systems integration.
