Job Role: Electric Auto Service Technician

Location: Dealer Workshop / Field Service

Experience: 1–3 Years (ITI / Diploma Freshers can be trained)

Job PurposeThe Electric Auto Service Technician will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing Montra Electric Three-Wheelers. The role involves workshop service, breakdown support, and ensuring high vehicle uptime and customer satisfaction.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out PDI, first service, and regular periodic services of electric autos
• Diagnose and rectify faults related to:
• 
  
• Battery (Lithium-ion)
• Motor & controller
• Charger and charging socket
• Wiring harness & connectors
• Perform software checks and fault code diagnosis (as per company tools)
• Attend on-road breakdowns and emergency service calls
• Replace defective parts under warranty as per SOP
• Maintain job cards, service reports, and warranty claim documents
• Conduct road test before vehicle delivery
• Coordinate with Service Advisor and Dealer Manager
• Explain basic vehicle usage and charging guidelines to customers
• Follow safety standards while working on high-voltage systems
• Required QualificationITI / Diploma in:

• Basic understanding of EV systems
• Ability to handle hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Required SkillsKnowledge of electric vehicle components
• Ability to read wiring diagrams
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to learn EV technology
• Team player with discipline and responsibility
• Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)Experience in Electric Auto / Electric Two-Wheeler service
• Knowledge of BMS and controller faults
• Valid Driving License (2W / 3W)
