Job Description

Pavithra Toolings is a manufacturing company based in Bengaluru specialising in compression springs, extension springs, torsion springs, wire-forms and related components for automotive, electrical, appliances and industrial sector.

We are looking to strengthen our sales leadership with a seasoned professional who can drive revenue growth, build customer relationships and lead strategic business development.

Experience & Education

  • 6 to 10 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in manufacturing / industrial components / springs / metal products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mechancial, Business, Marketing or a related field. MBA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company’s sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets in assigned territory / product lines.
  • Identify, target and acquire new customers (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, industrial/manufacturing customers) in India and potentially export markets.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing key customers, ensuring sustained business and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals and quotations tailored to customer requirements for springs, wire-forms, machined parts etc.
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, production, quality, logistics) to ensure orders are delivered on time, to specification and that customer expectations are met.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs; provide inputs into product development, pricing strategy and market positioning.
  • Lead forecasting, pipeline management and reporting of sales performance to senior management.
  • Mentor and manage a small team of sales executives (if applicable), setting targets, guiding them and reviewing performance.
  • Attend industry trade shows / events, customer visits and business networking to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Ensure compliance with sales contracts, quality standards, commercial terms and company policies.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes (especially springs, wire-forms, metal components) or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach – able to roll up sleeves and drive deals.
  • Proven ability to manage sales pipeline, forecast revenue accurately and deliver results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools / sales software is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel (within India and possibly abroad) as required for customer visits, trade fairs etc.
