Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:Customer Interaction:Greet customers and create a welcoming environment.
  • Listen to customers’ concerns regarding their vehicles and assess service needs.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage customer inquiries.
  • Service Consultation:Discuss service options, repairs, and maintenance tasks with customers.
  • Provide estimates of repair costs and timelines.
  • Ensure customers fully understand recommended services, prices, and timeframes.
  • Work Order Management:Generate accurate repair orders based on the customer's needs.
  • Collaborate with the service technicians to understand technical issues.
  • Review completed work orders and ensure they meet customer expectations.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling:Promote additional services or products to customers, such as maintenance packages or extended warranties.
  • Offer guidance on preventive maintenance to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
  • Customer Service:Provide timely updates on repair progress and notify customers of any changes or delays.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
  • Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of vehicle service history and customer interactions.
  • Prepare invoices, process payments, and handle warranty or insurance paperwork.
  • Maintain a clear and organized service log.
  • Key Skills and Qualifications:Strong knowledge of automotive services, repairs, and parts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using service management software and computer systems.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; some technical training or certifications preferred.
  • Prior experience in the automotive industry or customer service roles.
  • Desired Competencies:Customer Focus: Demonstrates a keen understanding of customer needs and strives to exceed their expectations.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
