Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary:

We are HIRING for a "Service Advisor” for RNS Motors Pvt Ltd to be stationed at Yeshwanthpur and Nelamangala in Bangalore. As a Car Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers requiring vehicle maintenance and repair services. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, scheduling appointments, explaining recommended repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire service process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction: Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and document service needs.
• Service Coordination: Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians for timely and accurate service delivery.
• Repair Recommendations: Explain vehicle diagnostics and recommended repairs in clear, non-technical language to customers.
• Quoting and Invoicing: Prepare detailed estimates for labor and parts, secure customer approval, and ensure accurate billing.
• Customer Updates: Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle repairs and any changes in costs or timelines.
• Follow-Up: Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any remaining concerns.
• Warranty and Maintenance Plans: Advise customers on manufacturer warranties, service packages, and regular maintenance schedules.
• Customer Satisfaction: Handle complaints and resolve customer issues professionally and promptly.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with service technicians, parts department, and other dealership staff to ensure efficient service operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Diploma or equivalent; ITI in Auto mobile Engineering or automotive certification preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service and automotive service advising is advantageous.
• Familiarity with dealership service management software is a plus.

AREA OF EXPERTISE:

• Automotive Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle components and repair procedures (formal training is a plus).
• Customer Service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve customer concerns with professionalism.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in documenting service requests and preparing estimates.
• Sales Ability: Capable of recommending additional services and upselling when appropriate.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize and handle multiple customer appointments and service tasks.
• Teamwork: Work well in a fast-paced team environment.
