Backend Developer

About the Role:

Uggiso International Pvt Ltd is looking for a highly passionate and skilled Backend Developer who can independently build, manage, and scale backend systems. The candidate will take ownership of developing the complete backend, deploying applications on GCP environments (Testing & Production), and collaborating with the frontend and product teams.

This role requires a strong problem solver, a team player, and someone open to learning and implementing new technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java & Spring Boot

• Build and optimize RESTful & Graph QL APIs

• Work with PostgreSQL / MongoDB databases

• Own the backend architecture and implementation end-to-end

• Deploy and manage applications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including:- Testing VM deployment - Production deployment & management

• Implement Authentication & Security:- OAuth / JWT / Firebase Auth

• Handle CI/CD basics and DevOps activities

• Containerize applications using Docker

• Support and troubleshoot production issues

• Collaborate closely with the frontend and product teams

• Take ownership and lead backend decisions when required

• Mentor and guide junior developers when necessary

Required Skills & Experience :

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on backend development experience

• Strong experience with:- Java + Spring Boot- PostgreSQL / MongoDB- REST APIs / GraphQL

• Experience with:- Git / GitHub - DevOps basics

• Experience deploying applications on GCP (VM & Production environments)

• Strong understanding of authentication & security best practices

• Experience in system design / architectural thinking Soft Skills
