Barista

We are looking for an energetic and fun individual to join our team as a Junior Barista

Position: Barista

Reports To: Owner / Manager

Location: Beankind Coffee & Bakehouse, Banashankari 2nd Stage, Bengaluru - 560061

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages in a fast-paced takeaway setup while handling front-of-house operations. This role demands speed, consistency, cleanliness, and good customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Coffee & Beverage Preparation

• Prepare espresso-based drinks and specialty beverages with consistency
• Operate espresso machine, grinder, and brewing equipment
• Ensure correct recipes, milk texture, temperature, and presentation
• Customer ServiceTake orders, handle billing and POS independently
• Greet customers, recommend drinks, and upsell where appropriate
• Handle basic customer feedback or issues politely

Daily Operations

• Open and close the kiosk (setup, calibration, shutdown, cleaning)
• Maintain cleanliness of counter, machine, and service area at all times
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for food items

Inventory & Reporting

• Monitor daily usage of beans, milk, cups, syrups, and consumables
• Refill stock during service and flag shortages early
• Report wastage, equipment issues, or inconsistencies

Skills & Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year barista experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently in a compact kiosk setup
• Ability to multitask during peak hours
• Basic POS and cash handling knowledge
• Strong hygiene standards and attention to detail
• Interest in coffee and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long hours
• Comfortable lifting light equipment and supplies (10–15 kg)
