Battery Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance:
• Install, maintain, and repair batteries in various equipment, including vehicles, industrial equipment, and renewable energy systems. 
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections of batteries, chargers, and related equipment. 
• Replace defective parts and reassemble batteries. 
• Testing and Diagnostics:
• Conduct tests on batteries to identify issues and check their lifespan. 
• Use electrical testing instruments to diagnose and troubleshoot battery problems. 
• Determine specific gravity of electrolyte solutions. 
• Test battery systems after servicing and take corrective actions for any malfunctions. 
• Troubleshooting and Repair:
• Identify and resolve issues related to battery performance and operation. 
• Troubleshoot and repair battery systems and related equipment. 
• Provide on-site technical assistance to customers.
