Position Title: Beautician

Department: Operations

Reporting To: Salon Manager

1. Key Responsibilities:Facial & Skin Treatments:

• Perform facials, skin treatments, and acne treatments based on customer needs.
• Provide deep cleansing, moisturizing, and anti-aging facials.
• Use products and techniques that suit the client’s skin type.

1. Hair Removal Services:

• Perform waxing, threading, and other hair removal services.
• Ensure the use of high-quality products for hair removal.

1. Nail Care:

• Provide manicure and pedicure services.
• Offer nail art, nail cleaning, and polish applications.

1. Makeup Application:

• Provide makeup services for clients as per requirements (e.g., party makeup, bridal makeup).
• Stay updated on the latest makeup trends and techniques.

1. Customer Service:

• Ensure clients feel comfortable and at ease during the service.
• Provide after-care advice and product recommendations to clients.
• Maintain customer confidentiality and uphold salon privacy standards.

1. Product Knowledge & Sales:

• Be knowledgeable about products used for treatments and sell related beauty products.
• Stay informed about new beauty treatments and trends.

1. Cleanliness & Safety:

• Ensure all equipment and tools are sanitized and properly maintained.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines.

1. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other beauticians and staff to ensure smooth operation.
• Support team members with their tasks and share knowledge.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Certification or Diploma in Beauty Therapy or related field.
• Proven experience in salon or spa services.
• Strong knowledge of beauty techniques, skin care, and hair treatments.
• Ability to work with clients of different needs and personalities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Good time management and organizational skills.

Performance Expectations:

• Deliver quality services within the given time frame.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service.
• Achieve monthly sales targets for beauty products.
• Ensure the cleanliness of workstations and tools after each treatment.

Working Hours:

• Standard salon working hours (includes weekends and public holidays as required).
• Shift-based working hours may apply.
