Job Title: Spa Reception Manager Location: indiranagar , Bangalore

Reports To: General Manager

Position OverviewThe Spa Reception Manager is the face of the spa — responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. This role combines front-desk operations, customer service excellence, staff supervision, and coordination between spa therapists and management.

The ideal candidate is warm, organized, tech-savvy, and capable of maintaining calm and professionalism in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

  • Key Responsibilities🧘‍♀️ Guest Relations & Front Desk ManagementGreet all guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
  • Manage check-ins, check-outs, and appointment scheduling efficiently.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with empathy and prompt resolution.
  • Maintain accurate client records and preferences in the booking system.
  • 🕰️ Operations & AdministrationOversee the smooth daily operations of the spa reception area.
  • Manage appointment bookings and therapist schedules to maximize utilization.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for cleanliness and readiness of spa facilities.
  • Maintain stock of retail products and assist in inventory management.
  • 👥 Team SupervisionTrain, guide, and supervise reception staff and front-desk associates.
  • Create duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
  • Conduct regular briefings to ensure smooth communication with therapists and management.
  • 💰 Sales & ReportingPromote spa packages, memberships.
  • Handle billing, cash reconciliation, and daily sales reporting.
  • Track key metrics like daily bookings, occupancy, revenue, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • 📞 Communication & CoordinationAct as liaison between guests, therapists, and management.
  • Communicate special requests, VIP client needs, or operational issues promptly.
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed at the front desk.
  • RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1–4 years of experience in a spa, wellness center, or hospitality front-desk role.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a luxury or boutique spa is an advantage.
  • Skills & QualitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
  • Familiarity with spa booking software
  • Customer-focused with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Good knowledge of spa services, therapies, and wellness trends.
  • Work ScheduleFlexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
