Billing Executive

Job Summary : The Billing Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accurate invoice preparation, timely submission, payment follow-ups, and maintaining financial records. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in billing software, and effective communication with internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices based on contracts, purchase orders, or service delivery records.
• Verify billing data, pricing, and tax applicability before processing invoices.
• Track and monitor payments, follow up on outstanding invoices, and maintain accounts receivable reports.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
• Record and update billing information in accounting or ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho).
• Process credit notes, debit notes, and adjustments as required.
• Generate periodic billing and payment reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation.
