the day’s menu and order requirements.

Receiving

deliveries and checking stock for freshness, quality, and quantities.

Organizing

kitchen staff to prepare ingredients, chop, marinate, etc.

Prepping and

portioning ingredients for different meal services.

Ensuring

cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.

Checking

temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and storage rooms.

Maintaining

hygiene protocols in compliance with health standards.

During this

time, they might work on more in-depth tasks like marinating meats assembling

dishes that need longer cooking times.

Cooking large

batches of food that will be served throughout the day.

Ensuring that

the food meets quality standards and is ready for packaging or delivery.

Supervising
