Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:


We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Business Development Associate to join our expanding global team. This is a frontline sales role focused on generating new business and nurturing long-term client relationships within the financial markets and services sector. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, identifying high-potential opportunities across international markets, and representing Breakout Marketing with professionalism and confidence.


Strong communication skills are essential for this role. Candidates who are fluent in Hindi and other regional Indian languages, in addition to English, are strongly preferred, as the role involves engaging with a diverse and multilingual client base.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively identify and develop new business leads and high-potential sales opportunities within the financial markets and services sector across global markets
  • Build, nurture, and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to negotiation and deal closure, consistently meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal strategy teams to develop and tailor sales approaches suited to specific regions and client profiles.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM systems and deliver timely, precise sales performance reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform and refine sales strategies.
  • Represent the company on phone and video calls with clients and prospects across international time zones, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and professionalism. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, International Relations, or a related discipline.
  •  Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in financial services sales will be given preference.
  • Prior experience in a sales, marketing, or client-facing role within the financial services industry is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets within a performance-driven environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  •  Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Hindi and additional regional Indian languages is strongly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage clients at all levels.
  • Strong telephone and video call presence with the ability to build rapport quickly in a remote or hybrid sales environment.
  • Sound understanding of cultural nuances and international business practices, particularly across South Asian and global markets.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Adaptable and intellectually curious, with a genuine interest in financial products and global markets.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in financial services marketing or sales campaigns.
  • Multilingual capability beyond Hindi, including other regional Indian languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, or Gujarati.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
